This week, YouTubeTV started categorizing my Jeopardy recordings by Season and Episode Number instead of by episode air date like they always have. I'm surprisingly bothered by it, which, unsurpisingly, bothers me.

I've been testing Raycast on Windows. Honestly, I love it, but I'm having a hard time with the muscle memory. Been clicking that darned Start Menu most of my life.

I've been a generalist my entire career. Super valuable in startup life. Coding, design, marketing, writing, video, architecture, strategy. Good at all. Expert at none. But so many of my skills can now be replicated with a simple AI prompt. I worry about the next generation of generalists.

I've experimented with a dozen note tools over the years. Finally switched to Obsidian a couple weeks ago, and I'm loving it. I know why it took me so long: other tools (I'm looking at you, Tana) had so much promise. But Obsidian is winning on so many levels, including privacy and ownership.

Sadly, after these killings in Minnesota, I'm astonished by how many people in my feeds would've condemned Rosa Parks as a lawbreaker, indifferent to the injustice she rebelled against, their humanity and morality shoved aside (perhaps unwittingly) in deference to political affiliation and bias.

I was raised in a world where Rosa Parks was a hero. With a non-violent act of rebellion, she demonstrated that laws can be unjust, discriminatory, and immoral. I thought we all learned this lesson.

I just used Gemini to create a more useful dashboard for Gemini. This isn't hard, Google. Give us a better way to manage all our chats.

Google should release a stripped down version of Chrome powered by Gemini to compete against AI browsers. It could be used for experimental features like Inbox did for gmail all those years ago.

Also, Gemini isn't the selling point they think it is. I've learned from my Quest 3 that I don't want to talk to my device when other people are in the room. But maybe that's just me.

I wanted a wow feature on the Galaxy XR. Didn't see one. No mention if android notifications are synced across devices. No mention of phone screen continuity. No concrete examples of expanding my desktop to multiple virtual monitors. I'm excited about the platform's future, but this is no Vision Pro
