It’s all about the research. The skip is from 1991, (don’t ask), so the mags had to be 70s vintage to have been in a shed for long enough… anyway, it’s how my mind works. Linen tester for scale and cheap laughs.

Madagascan Comet Moth (Argema mittrei). 20cm (7.9in) wingspan. This is a moth native to the rain forests of Madagascar. The adult moth cannot feed and only lives for 4 to 5 days. What to do in Norfolk in September? The Norwich Printing Museum is open on the Blickling Estate, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, until the end of the month. After that, we are moving to a new home, so come and see us at Blickling while you can.

Today we visited the @norwichprintmuseum.bsky.social (currently based at Blickling Hall).

My goodness, printing the old fashioned way was a very complicated, skilled & labour intensive process. Fascinating!

Hope to visit again once the wider collection is back in Norwich (fingers crossed).🤞
