Experiments for a new series- tea toned Cyanotypes.

A gremlin or goblin figure with huge ears and a curious expression. He is draped in a cloak made from coarse mulberry bark, and bits of muted green hemp fibre that resemble seaweed functioning as a scarf. He has duck-like orange webbed feet, and carries a bucket in one hand and a fishing rod in the other. He is standing against a soft white background decorated with pieces of driftwood and some dried grass.

For #ArtAdventCalendar Day 5, a friendly but very shy bog dweller.

Finished today and made from paper mache, wood, dyed hemp fibre and mulberry bark. 🐌

On a light grey pebble is a painting of a rising full moon with a silhouetted hare in front of it. The colours are monochrome, and there are lots of stars in the sky. There are silhouetted trees of either side of the hare.

Here’s a stone I painted a reeeeeally long time ago.

Groke (Mårran) illustration. The Groke is portrayed as a large, shadowy figure with big eyes and a wide nose. Here she is stood, icy, with a background of foliage.

Goodnight. It’s Krampusnacht and my birthday, but am actually exhausted from coughing endlessly with this chest infection thing so off to bed.

I just love Crumplings' stuff - whimsy to the max

Two elephant figurines with antennae and colourful butterfly wings for ears. One of them is a light aqua blue, and the other (smaller) one a darker shade of blue. The former's ears are rainbow-coloured and the latter has sunset orange ears adorned with with thin crescent moons. The elephants are standing on a white windowsill in front of a glass candle jar and some decorative wooden fir trees.

The bottom left painting is in tribute to Stan Collins from Newfoundland, whose photograph of the Lobster Cove Lighthouse I used as a reference. Sadly, Stan passed away a month ago after a lifetime of engineering & photography.

A small ceramic creature held in my hand. It's similar to a green and teal flecked dog with round, shiny black eyes, slightly floppy ears, no nose and a wide smile.

The same ceramic creature shown from one side. A teal-green-yellow-white gradient can be seen along its body, with its underside being white and its upper side being teal. Its tail has a feline S-shape.

The trees along the shore of a pond are reflected in water on a cold and cloudy day.

Cold and cloudy fall days make for good black and white photos...

At least one of us is happy. Here he is in his element, after a horrendous walk along roads you could see your reflection in, still full of energy, playing in the snow.

Lumi and I have invented a new sport, iceskatejoring: you wear your Icebugs and go for a walk. He'll do the work pulling the leash, but you'll still break a sweat, because he'll take you places you could only imagine. You have no choice but to follow; you have literally no traction on the black ice.

Pocket shrine in an altoid tin. Tin is artificially weathered, made to look old, rusty and covered in moss like it’s been in the forest for centuries. Inside the tin are many moon faces, meant to symbolize many different gods.
