Thank you. I looked it up and it said (Google) that it will wear the pawl but it's either going to wear the pawl (whatever that is) or the handbrake cable so.....🤷‍♀️

Thanks Garry believe it or not, I have a licence (auto) but I think I do it automatically. When moving off surely it's cover the foot break (into drive) then handbrake off
Modern cars hold a few seconds to prevent rolling back. Yikes my brain feels like it wants to explode

This might not make any sense but when using a traditional handbrake in automatic do you. Foot on break, then neutral, then park then handbrake OR footbrake, handbrake then neutral and park?
