Eight additional federal prosecutors are in the process of leaving the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation. The most Veep story was realizing how few other members in our state cared when a local cop was killed in the line of duty. Our office and one other showed up to the funeral, and local Republicans didn't even send a staffer. I did constituent services so I didn't get most of the DC stories...

The most WW story is that calls into our office helped my boss take a very hard vote that had enough media attention we were getting calls 8 hours a day for weeks. Red state, worked for a centrist Dem, and my boss voted the right way because people called making that vote easier

Relevant here, three days before making the above post, Secretary Noem announced she would terminate Haiti's TPS designation as of February 3, 2026. See 90 Fed.
