I often do sketchy lineart that has varied transparency and thickness and has small gaps. Conventional fill functions never work for it without coloring the edges manually first--and even then, I still sometimes have to come back and fix things

The ONLY application for machine learning (NOT GEN AI) I want to see in art programs is a fill tool that fills things in by detecting lines and filling in to the middle of the line, rather than filling in based on the individual pixel data.
