Appreciating unconventional rare books It is common to think that the only 'rare' books in the Heythrop Library collection are pre-1800 or early print books. While this is partially true, some books are 'rare' because of their uniqueness and what they can teach us about scholars' research. Change in opening hours : to LJC term time From Monday 12 January we will be open for longer again, to support the teaching and learing at the London Jesuit Centre: Mondays-Thursdays: 9:30am to 6:30pm Fridays: 9:30am to 6pm Saturdays: 9:30am to 2pm Please always check our web page for changes to the opening hours, especially if you are travelling from further away from London.
