A date label from Royal Lancaster
A date label from Wirral University Teaching Hospital, we like the background the green gives it.
A date label from Countess of Chester, again the slight bit of green really adds to it.
A date label from Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, note the fine warning!
We've been receiving books from other libraries for reservations and we're enjoying seeing all the different date labels!
We feel like an airport checking passport paperwork when we look at all these different labels! #librarysky #library #bluesky

Step 1 - clear the previous display books and posters. Here's our empty display shelf!
Step 2 - wipe down the display shelf. This leaves us with a very dusty wipe, but a clean shelf!
Step 3 - get some books for the new display! We've gone with some colourful Oxford Handbooks for this display.
Step 4 - Voila, one brand new display! We've got our Library Hub sign on top of the display cabinet with some Oxford Handbooks just below!
A new display for a new year!
We've spent the morning moving and cleaning, we think it looks really good thanks to the bright Oxford Handbooks!

'Plan and Organize Your Life' by Beatrice Naujalyte, just the book we need today!
A page from 'Plan and Organize Your Life' explaining the 'Hedgehog Concept.' We're fascinated by this - we never realised hedgehogs were so smart!
It's been a crazy Friday morning - we've been dealing with organising the library and trying to locate missing debit cards while nervously waiting for the snow to fall!
We will be reading more of 'Plan and Organize Your Life', we definitely need the help!

We're not sure what this is (possibly a car freshener or a label? It's a pink oval piece of card with a cat like creature on it) but it had been moonlighting as a bookmark!
Strange bookmarks, part 1.
This fell out of a returned book today, not really sure what it is but we decided to reward it's services to reading by pinning it to our noticeboard!

Two of our new possible donations - Bob Mortimer's 'The Hotel Avocardo' (yellow cover) and Mary Watson's 'The Cleaner' (pink cover) along with Charles, the green Squishmallow who lives on our desk. No idea where he came from but he seems happy!
We always enjoy getting new donations, especially when they're so bright!
Charles, the green squashie thing who lives on our desk, likes them. Truth be told, we invited him onto the picture because we thought he was an avocado!
