I worked at Target for 5 years in the olden days. It felt like a good company then. Now it's pure garbage and I root for it to fail unless it turns things around.

My advice to anyone in LA trying to make it is: just be kind to everyone you meet. You never know who may help you later. Today's assistant is tomorrow's showrunner. If I have regrets it's that competition would cause me to be shitty at times, & it never paid off. Just be kind. Raise each other up.

The way we're violently arresting people, smearing immigrants and arresting people here legally only to hold them in massive warehouses just because they're not white, there are so many daily horrors happening we're all just letting it continue.

"Hook" and "Labyrinth" are probably in the same category for me. As an adult I can tell "Labyrinth" is not a GOOD film but I appreciate all the ideas.

I saw it as a child. It had several upsetting scenes, but it was very engaging and I watched it a bunch of times even though it scared me. Watching it later as an adult I find it very well done as a film. Probably just not for kids.

The "How Did This Get Made?" crew HATES "Return to Oz" which makes me sad. I love that nightmare fuel.

Lindsay is a talented writer and showrunner. If you're a studio finally realizing you need to make new shows to make more money, she would be a great asset to your team!
