this is assuming they are focusing on finishing/doing most of raiders before putting more focus into s4. if theyre splitting the dev teams then i can see 2027 announcement 2028 release being the outcome

its probably being worked on rn but its gonna be in a very early state since the splatoon team is (presumably) working on raiders. i dont think theres enough time to make enough of the game to show something in 2027 unless its late in the year like in the september direct

i think the main weapon is pretty much where it should be in power, maybe reduce the end lag by a couple frames like vblast got to allow it to thrive at skirmishing and let it move a lot.

main reason its not super good rn imo is just that the meta doesnt really allow it to thrive.

Maybe Its just my own bias but it just seems like a weaker mentality to complain so heavily about a weapon being OP or braindead or unhealthy, when it effectively just came out and everyones matchup experience is either nonexistent, or 8 years old in 2 prior Splatoon games. We should learn first?

def nice having the S1 radius but it’s not a game changer. it’s cool that Luna got more of a buff compared to the other blasters and it definitely helps in some matchups, but it’s still a bit of a mid tier counter pick gun rather than being “good” now.

you can actually abuse the aura paint desync by intentionally trying to get picks in strong sharking spots, meaning on their screen youd be sharking in a great position in their color ink. might actually start trying this in matches
