I did get hit in the back when I ran out to grab a rack of hanging clothes. I was going to try to cover the plants but the one that pegged me hurt so much I decided against it.
I’m shocked our windows and cars are ok. Shocked.

Would love any precipitation in the summer. All of ours comes in winter as snow. (And I’m allergic to snow and ice 😹)

We have wild temperature swings since we are high desert. We are supposedly a zone 6 but frost can come any night so we are really like a zone 4. I moved here from Vermont, where it is zone 4, but a reliable zone 4.
I would think tomatoes (and peppers) would love that heat. Interesting

It’s wild. My outdoor plants were decimated. It’s hard enough to grow things here without the golfballs shooting down from the sky.

All except for Raging Bull. (And some I’ve seen so many times I can’t count)

I haven’t seen golfball sized hail in a few years.🙀 It sounded like rocks were hitting the house. Thankfully we didn’t suffer any damages. Thought we would have some broken glass

I started spinning again just to keep me in yarn to accompany my “can’t doomscroll if I’m knitting” era.
The happy side effect of that is that I can’t doomscroll if I’m spinning either.

It’s super cute. I love it, however the neck would drive me crazy. I would have to modify that bit.

Yes yes! It’s the push I needed. My wheels were in the garage for over a year!

It’s a mix. Sometimes I make my own personal challenges (like my knit a sock a month) and right now I’m participating in Tour de Fleece, solo. It’s the first time I’ve participated in it in over a decade. I didn’t sign up for a team, but it’s still pushing me.

Purple is my fave.

3 bobbins of fiber. 1 with a green blend that is plied and 2 with a purple blend (singles, waiting to be plied.)

🧶 TdF stage 8: Today involves some plying. After freeing up some bobbins, I’ll have to decide between the rest of my alpaca blend and some Shetland. Not a terrible position to be in. #tourdefleece #handspun #fiberarts
