That might be the worst piece of published prose I've ever read. It sounds like something from an AI trained entirely on Carrie Bradshaw voice overs.

Can't help feeling there's a kinship between the Democrats' capitulation on the shutdown and the BBC bowing to this connected non-scandal. We need the forces of sanity in the world to be at least as determined and insistent as yhe forces of chaos and entropy. And it just doesn't seem like they are.

Who is asking for this? And why are we discarding one of YouTube's greatest features - its status as an informal historical archive of video culture - because old stuff is sometimes blurry?

A good start, but I don't think we can/should separate the normative excesses of capitalism from a special category of those excesses we demarcate as 'corruption'. We need to fundamentally rethink the structure of our economy and stop incentivizing private sector profits over the social good.

Having been a cafe chef in a couple different places, I've found this is often a choice made purely on the basis of expense. Had clotted cream taken off the menu at one and got it put on to replace whipped cream at another.

The Last Jedi did some of this - essentially portraying its nazi-like New Order as petulant simpering weenies. They were still dangerous, but more through their weakness and spitefulness than through their pretended strength. (And boy, did they not like seeing themselves portrayed that way!)
