Last night, 4 people were shot and killed and another was wounded by an AR-15 style rifle in a New York City office building.

It was the 254th mass shooting this year. We’ve passed an assault weapons ban in 10 states—including New York. But Nevada—where the shooter is from, does not have one.

And yet Republicans want to make New York LESS SAFE by passing nationwide permitless carry in Congress and striking down state assault weapons bans in the Supreme Court.

Shame.
