Slab built cat bowls with the names of the cats carved into them. These are bisque fired with the cats names in blue oxide brushed in.

A slab built cat bowl that didn’t survive the bisque firing. Perhaps some air was in my slab.

I’ve recently taken up pottery as a creative outlet and I really love it. I took some classes in undergrad but it’s been ages so I’ve been taking hand building classes. Here are some slab built cat bowls I’ve made for all my cat lady friends. I’ve made about 14 so far w one kiln mishap so not bad :)
