A harness gag featuring a big black rubber ball keeps her from singing, and over it is a hood that secures a pair of earphones to her head, which are blasting atonal noise into her to help prevent her from concentrating enough to use her siren song to even a limited effect. For further insurance, a large shock collar is locked around her neck, set to deliver a jolt whenever it detects her making any noise that registers as melodic. ---------- The warden took a sip of coffee as he punched up the live feed of their new prisoner's cell. "Mm," he swallowed, "The shock collar's new, isn't it?" "Yes sir," the security officer replied. "The gag keeps her from singing, but it turns out her humming is almost as effective. 242 found that out last night-- he nearly had her free before the guards found him." The officer plucked a clipboard from a rack on her desk and handed it to the warden. A copy of the incident report was clasped in its binder. "'The collar is set to deliver a painful shock whenever it detects more than ten seconds of melodic sound.' Huh. I didn't think our engineers knew anything about music, judging from the racket they listen to. It's still being piped into her headphones, right?" "Yes sir; biometrics indicate that it's keeping her too distracted to focus her powers to any great extent. Evidently 242 also neglected to refresh the playlist once it ran out." "Schedule him for some PTO next week-- maybe he'll be more focused after a little downtime. And double her watch- tone-deaf officers, for preference. We can't have any more slip-ups with this one. She's already wreaked havoc on six different continuities- if she gets loose again, we'll have our work cut out for us to get her back."

The Locked part of today's #Kinktober2025 prompt is easy enough, but when the RNG turned up Adagio Dazzle (MLP: Equestria Girls), I immediately knew what I wanted to do for the secondary Nightmare prompt! Been wanting to give Dags a taste of her own medicine for a while...
