She has since told me in detail how she regrets her decision, and is frustrated to hear what came about.

I might turn this piece into a series.

A canvas surrounded by bright green masking tape The canvas has a cyan and dark blue background, with lots and lots of large overlapping brush strokes in light and dark shades that cross cross each other diagnonally. The center of the canvas features the faint sketch outline of an outstretched hand made out of white charcoal pencil.

The same piece from before, but the hand is now almost completely done (save the thumb) in warm hues of gold along the creases in the hand, with light brown highlights, and dark brown and even black areas in spots to add depth and life. The hand is still outstretched and in a dark and light blue pattern

This is the completed work. The background surrounding the hand is a vibrant green color in an almost mist type texture. The edges of the hand are yellow, which create a magical almost glowing effect around the hand. The hand is that of someone who is black, with red, orange, gold, and brown hues. There are some white highlights on the hand to better outline their fingers, palm, and the wrist of their hand.

All I know is this: the green represents vitality, creativity, and life, flowing through the hands of the subject. :>

Inspired by a ton of furry art I saw floating around of more alternative-looking characters.
