I got asked to boost the rent fund for Whittier Elementary’s Wolfpack organizing team.

They paid 70 rents for February and are committed to paying March rent for 120 families.

This fund is for families of kids at Whittier Elementary who have been negatively impacted by the ICE occupation in Minnesota. In the immediate moment they are about $70k short for supplying rent funds for families who had to shelter & hide without working & earing money.

Whittier Watchtower this morning at around 9 A.M. Good people took a round-a-bout & turned it into a community hub with food, supplies, people, & ICE watch. 95% percent of motorists responded with positivity in some way; wave, honk, words, or stopping & getting snacks!

I’m on the scene at Franklin and 1st. A convoy of about a couple dozen ICE/HSI agents broke the entryway into an apartment building at 6am. No warrant presented. Less than 24 hours ago, Tom Homan announced the end of large convoys in Minnesota… Bullshit.

A lot of the folks you're riding, marching, & patrolling with will, if this shit actually ends without total war, turn right around & say, "We need border control & policing, but in a way that I won't be inconvenienced. I want to be safe!" Back to "normal" policing that mainly targeted Black people.
