Agree- headline was bad and obviously for shock value. But I donโ€™t disagree with several of the points. Infill development is not getting us out of this housing crisis. And I say that as a conservation professional turned affordable housing professional.

Was surprised to read about this in the town FB group (where feelings were mixed to say the last)- not often little Washington shows up in statewide news. IMO it is more needed on the state roads where aggressive driving is really bad. I drive Baldwin Hill often & personally havenโ€™t had issues. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Woke up to beautiful fresh snow and the news that the toddler has a snow day. Solidarity to all the other working moms who also had to scramble to find alternative childcare today. ๐Ÿซ  โ„๏ธโ„๏ธ

My 20-month old is in a YCC program and itโ€™s our first experience with Montessori. I was a little surprised the day they sent home a photo of her using what appeared to be a real screwdriver and screws.

Right, that checks out. Searching for under $400k in LC would be even more dismal (our cap when we were looking and even back in 2022 we had to go over that)

The smoke from the Great Barrington fire is so thick in my small Connecticut town this morning that at least one person called it in as a local fire. This drought is seriously scary. Indicator of Falls to come?
