It would be far more accurate to curse the tilt of the earth, the time of the year and your relative latitudinal position. During DST at the latitude where I live ( and it’s not that far north !) we have daylight until 10 at night - which wreaks havoc on your natural circadian rhythm. AST forever!

About 15 pickling cucumbers on a butchers block surface. One is overripe, yellow and quite large compared to the others.

🌱 Partial garden haul 2025. The tomatoes are ripening quickly now and the cukes are ridiculously vigorous. Peppers are growing well too. All this despite the heat and drought. Looks like I’ll be making some more pickles and relish soon!

It looks like it. I can’t really see the leaves too well in the photo but the flowers look the same. They do come in different colours, I had an orange one some time ago also.

Polling is showing Carney/ Liberals preferred in the 55+ age range. That is hopeful as I believe that age group is the biggest slice of the electorate.

I never really understood the lawn sign thing anyway. It’s a secret ballot for a reason. At the end of the day you still need to live and work amongst people who may have a different political alignment than yours.

Nobody hands you democracy on a silver plate. Democracy is earned. If you don’t have it you have to fight for it. And once you have it, you have to be vigilant and aware and fight to keep it. The very least you can do is vote. #democracy #canpoli #canadastrong
