i think it is hard for some people to really their heads around the reality that kennedy is staunchly anti-vaccine and thinks that people should suffer through disease and that those who die deserved it and that those who survive are a better order of human being

The GOP is less of a political party and more of a death cult these days. Yet the media will continue to sanewash them, no doubt.

The reason your rent, food, and medicine is high and rising is because of Trumponomics. Trump is robbing you, that's money out of your pocket going to his minions. Money you worked for, you are being robbed.

Good point and we’ve seen it for years with immigration policy. Even as poll after poll shows most Americans want a system that combines secure borders with humane & reasonable options for those already here, the MSM media insisted that Trump’s hardine approach was popular.

Days after $5 million donation to MAGA Inc., Trump freezes Medicare waste crackdown
Trump pledged to root out "waste, fraud and abuse." Then a big contribution to his Super PAC came in.
1. On February 24, Extremity Care LLC, a company that sells very expensive bandages made from placentas, donated $5 MILLION TO TRUMP'S SUPER PAC
Days later, Trump froze a pending rule that would BAR MEDICARE FROM COVERING EXTREMITY CARE'S PRODUCTS, which are overpriced & not backed by science.

How 'shock therapy' created Russian oligarchs and paved the path for Putin
In the 1990s, reformers adopted a radical economic program in Russia. It devastated ordinary Russians and created a new class of oligarchs. And it explains the rise of Putin and the leader he is today
There is a playbook here they appear to be following:
1) Break apart the government.
2) Crash the economy.
3) Sell government assets and bankrupt companies to billionaires for cheap.
4) Cement power for oligarchs and fascists.
But we the people will not allow this—we will resist, and we will win.

Sometimes now we have laws and congressional approved regulatory frameworks, and sometimes we have various parties getting shaken down and agreeing, along whatever individual terms they can get, to pay the administration protection money.

Epstein victim was contestant in Donald Trump's teen beauty pageant
The woman, identified only as "Jane," was a contestant in Trump's Miss Teen USA in 1998.
A victim of Epstein testified during Maxwell's 2021 trial she was a contestant in Trump's teen beauty pageant. The woman, identified by the pseudonym "Jane," testified that she met Trump at his Mar-a-Lago Club when Epstein took her there in the 1990s when she was 14. www.newsweek.com/epstein-vict...

it's amazing the amount of time and effort Democrats spend painstakingly critiquing their messaging while Trump just fires from the hip while his brain leaks out of his ears and it's good enough for 312 electoral votes and winning control of the entire federal government

He’s 68, not 77, per Wikipedia - and I do think that’s a meaningful difference. I know Mills is popular and winning the Senate is critical, but all things considered the party desperately needs to get younger. (Tho I’m no of Jared Golden so if it came down to those two I’d prefer Mills)

The way you square low party favorables with an okay generic ballot and very strong special election performance is that the Democratic base is ready to crawl over broken glass to oppose Republicans and furious at party leadership for not feeling the same.

This is an excellent point - for all the doomers asking “will he even allow free elections in 2026” the key thing to understand is, he probably can’t stop the election itself but he can almost certainly find ways to obstruct the election *outcome* (the seating/functioning of a Dem Congress).

Some people don't feel as close to this as they ought to. Most of us are just a bad break or two away from winding up on the streets, and addiction & mental health crises can affect anyone. They're gutting services and rendering more of us disposable, and there's a carceral disposal system waiting.
