I think this dynamic comes from the fact that Corporate Democrats in Colorado are much more worried about left-wing primaries than general elections so they are outright hostile to lefty activists.

It's more of an observation.
TBH-- I think it's because many Safe Seat Democrats fear losing to a left-wing primary than a general election so that's where the hostility comes from 🤷🏾‍♂️

I often forget Bluesky is where all the Democrats who thought Liz Cheney campaigning with Harris was a good idea went to hide. The West Wing has done unimaginable damage to the liberal political class’s psyche.

Joe Neguse should be the next Speaker if Democrats win in 2026. He’s actually talented and can build the kind of broad coalition needed for a future FDR-style agenda, unlike Hakeem Jeffries.

Republicans can often sense I have actual values and beliefs while we both realize that Corporate Democrats are following checks and doing whatever their handlers tell them to do.

We can have an actual disagreement based on something tangible rather than just gamesmanship.

Tbh I’m not shocked Trump got along better with Zohran than people expected.

In my own experience in Colorado politics and as a DSA member, I often get along way better w/ many Republicans at the Capitol than Corporate Democrats.

The more I get into politics the more I realize there's this insufferable Democractic political class that actually is more responsible for stopping progress because they're obsessed with the idea of The West Wing rather than Republicans who have a different vision

Ro Khanna is the first Democrat to actually build a real coalition to land a hit on Trump. That alone has to put him in the top tier for 2028.

If this party wants a fighter instead of another consultant-approved cardboard cutout, he’s already in the top 5.

After Bennet loses the Governor's race in 2026, he's dead on arrival for a primary in 2028.

In my experience, many elected officials can be bought with a smile and some smooth words without even cashing a check.
