For some, like MAGA supporters, it never fully starts up in the first place.

From the description, I thought it was going to be more like, the leaves of the trees begin to recoil in horror at the colour clash.

Decided to unearth another stalled WIP this time, Derek, the MCs, won a "new life lottery" with the promise that one of his deepest regrets could be undone. What he didn't know was, the life he'd be taking already had an occupant, and that Derek's currently living his old one. He found himself in an army camp wearing sergeant stripes, being ordered to sort out a troublesome recruit by a major on his arrival. So far, he's faked it admirably.

One of my WIPs begins in 2015. It moves on to other worlds, as my MC can alter his vision to see across time.
Other timelines he visits in the first book include a world stuck at the start of the 20th century and a post apocalyptic one ruled by the chinese, where he becomes trapped as a slave.

Personally, I'd prefer to remain permanently bald.
