Have you oiled it? I used a little bit of sewing machine oil when mine did that. Worked well.

Was built by Edward T. King in Jefferson Iowa in the 1930s. He gave it to his sister, Hazel Elliott who lived in Preston Co. WV. My aunt bought it from the Elliot family in late 80s and moved it to Grant Co, WV. I inherited from my Aunt. It has been well cared for. I am enamored with him.

Delighted to see so many weavers here. This is my barn frame loom, Northrup. It is a 4 shaft, 6 treadle counterbalance loom that is almost 100 years old. Weaving is my mediation. #weaving #multishaftloom #handweaving
