In Greater Manchester, nearly 6,000 families with over 8,500 children are in temporary accommodation rather than stable, secure, settled homes. Nearly 1,300 are in hostels or B&Bs.

The latest figures reveal local councils across the country spent a total of £2.8 billion on temporary accommodation in 2024/25.
We're investing too much in short-term, 'temporary' fixes, rather than lasting, sustainable solutions.

SUEZ's Renew Hub, the first of its kind in the UK, has upcycled nearly 420,000 items that would have otherwise gone to waste. ♻️
These items are repaired and resold to the local community, with £100,000 of sales proceeds each year donated to the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity.
