I was startled today to realise he’s being held up as a model and even a martyr among some Christians here in the UK. How did people come to align ourselves so strongly on issues that drive tribalism and cause so much more heat than light? Whatever happened to loving your neighbour?

It’s no surprise the Gov’t banned asylum seekers from buying toys and haircuts. Some councils refuse to store toys and clothes for families seeking emergency housing. People in emergencies need basics for daily life, not a nanny Gov’t thinking it knows better :-( www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

Cat politics: this bruiser rules our neighbourhood. He appears to be hanging out for a glimpse of our New Kat On the Block, just to let him know who’s boss. (I had never seen him hang out there before NKOTB’s arrival).
