If you're reaaaaly familiar with the bomb jumping and positioning its not too bad but considering I was only able to beat it on Wii until this year, its definitely not easy. Boost Guardian isn't too bad but definitely a major skillcheck. Both are made worse by a lengthy walkback should you die

If you're looking to get into the 2D games, Fusion or Zero Mission are the way to go though, perfect levels of flow, challenge and optional exploration that they're still the peak of the series to this day

Plus I think the Wii version of Prime 2 is most approachable since it gives you spring jump for one of the bosses and they retuned the difficulty to be more manageable. Definitely going to be harder than the first but not a mess like the GC version.

The Prime Trilogy is a great place to start! I feel most version differences between GC/Wii/Switch are not going to be very noticeable to new players so as long as you like the controls you're in for a good time!
