The world is a conveyor belt. It spans in all directions... except for one. It's been easy to put distance between myself and the edge of the cliff. I've used that time to explore the expanse. But it just foes on forever and it all leads to the same place. I have become intimately familiar with the touch of the conveyor. Which is how I know it's getting faster. Day by day, incrementally, infinitessimally so... but still it gets faster... and every day I get a little weaker.
