I use bacon grease. Whatever you choose, wipe the fat in a thin layer (paper towel) heat the pan in the oven to 400 for an hour. Wipe away excess, put it back in the oven for 15 minutes more then turn the oven off and let it sit until cooled.

Protests at Jefferson City, MO today. A group stared down a couple of Trumpers who showed up. It was a good turnout for a rainy, holiday weekend! The rain mostly held off until the end.
