So there's that. was aiming for horror but it feels more like goosebumps for adults at the moment. Still only draft 1. Scares in draft 2. 🤞

as halloween draws to a close.... mine was super quiet because exhausted (watched dragula titans in spooky kitty pj's, talked to my mum on the phone), tomorrow brings the start of #novelNovember... and I have 4 story ideas so far, which is fine because I'm going to write an anthology style book 🤩

I've just booked to do a gilding workshop at the craft centre (in Manchester). I think it's Dutch gold they give everyone to use. Not till December though.

will you post what you make on here? Last year I did a wreath making workshop and a pewter workshop as part of my selfcare Christmas (creativity helps). Not decided what I'll do for this year yet.

every polling station should do this. Or at least offer a toilet to use afterwards. My local one is at a a church, and then they get annoyed that I stay to pet the cats and doggos* outside (see a cat or dog, make friends with it, I don't make up the rules!) *if safe to pet.

I think she picked Liam because he seemed angry in how he came across in the media all the time, like full on chip on his shoulder. She really doesn't like oasis though, so was an interesting choice from her..... That "soul" is so long it's like a dog cry.

I'm also sticking with the Eggers one. It'll be better, I think Eggers has a much better grasp of the gothic, and as a director and casting person he seems to have a little bit of moral fibre. (fingers crossed, not spotted anything to be of concern with him).

considering Mr Dickens himself was a cheat by modern standards (his mistress came with him to Manchester a few times...fun fact from MCR archive study) it's apt(?) he would get cast, though I can't imagine it will do well as he's not produced any good 'gothic' films since before sweeney todd

Most wines of that type (pino noir) are alright. Just stay away from Chardonnay...too much sugar (that's why it's so yellow)

That's #Grimmfest ( #Grimmfest2025 ) done for the year now. Hard to believe it's 17!(I've only been an active participant 2021 ? onwards, as before that was too much of a wuss2go solo ...too concerned what others would think) loved what I did get to see this year + looking forward to the future.

Turns out I've already watched 137 of the films on your mammoth list. Will probably watch more that happen to be on there in the future.
