I have my own, decades-long issues with Todd’s style, impact, etc, but I don’t see anything at all out-of-character or inappropriate with these takes on canonically-big guys like Bane, Alec, and Darkseidz I don’t even like the design of Absolute Batman, and to me, these’re perfectly cromulent.
