It's so disappointing seeing how successul Arc Raiders is considering it's using AI generated voices. AI voices are really going to harm VAs in the long run. It's depressing seeing people argue it's not a big deal because people don't care, as if not caring means issues just disappear.

I stopped playing genshin around when they started recasting striking actors (precisely because they wouldn't guarantee not doing the very damn thing they're doing right here) and at this rate I'm never going back

So anyway, maybe voice actors aren't crazy, greedy bastards for wanting protections against their voices being used to train AI after all

It only seems to happen to me when I want to do something, which just leaves me baffled about why I do this. If I could get through this I would probably be drawing a lot more, I just don't know how to make my body actually fucking do something even though I desperately want to do it.

I can't tell if I'm just really lazy and I'm trying to justify it or if there's something else going on. My immediate thoughts are to either ADHD or Autism but I'm skeptical of my diagnoses so I'm not really sure, and I don't know how to explain this in a way a search engine would understand.

This happens way too often and I'm growing increasingly concerned about it. I bought a cheap tablet with intent to dedicate myself to learning to use it 3 years ago, and in that time I've done basically nothing. I'm lucky if I can make my body move long enough to play a game for a couple of hours.

I'm stuck thinking the entire time "why am I not moving?" "Come on, get up and do something" but I just don't. I'm not doing anything, I'm not watching videos or scrolling through social media, I just stare out desperately trying to move when my body just won't do it. Why the fuck does this happen?

I really want to learn to draw, I find it really fun but I'm not very good at it. I've been really struggling to learn though. I don't know how to explain it clearly, but I can't make my body move to do anything. Whether it's drawing or something else, I find myself just kinda sitting there?

At some point the novelty of AI will wear out and all of these AI businesses will crash, which is why AI companies are trying to acquire as many users and businesses as possible now to cash out before it all falls apart. They’re obsessed w/ user acquisition in a way that reminds me of a Ponzi scheme

These are not issues that can be solved with criminalization. These issues are easily solved if our government would actually spend the money necessary to house and help these people, it would also be a hell of a lot cheaper than it would cost to criminalize them.

I think she did a wonderful job playing Yuzuha, and I wish only the best for her in the future.

It's upsetting to me seeing so much harassment towards Yuzuha's VA, Kimberly Tierney, because she posted a GIF of Yuzuha with a lesbian flag behind her. I've noticed a homophobia problem in the ZZZ community for a while, so I'm not surprised, but it's still disgusting to see.

Be precise and give, uh, credit where credit is due

Republicans voted for the nazi bill, and then cheered afterwards for the nazi bill. It's not a hyperbole to say they are a nazi party, and that they have won. Many people will be sent to concentration camps. Many people will die. And many people in this country will support it.

My fucking father is happy the bill passed, despite knowing it's passing is going to result in the death of my sister, as well as so many others. He doesn't give a shit, he's just happy it hurts the people he hates, no matter the cost. I hate it here so much.

I feel utterly disgusted by what has happened to this country. So many people are going to suffer and die because this bill passed. It's depressing seeing how many people voted for the Republican party, and it's depressing seeing how many people are cheering this on.

Do not celebrate 4th of July tomorrow. There is nothing to celebrate.

All my thanks and well wishes to the talented @corinaboettger.bsky.social. Their Paimon has been a consistent friend to me for the last several years and their courage for speaking out for actor’s rights in the face of mass mob hatred has been inspiring. All the best to them in the future.

One takeaway from the past ~5 years is that @corinaboettger.bsky.social is a true talent. An all-star performance that I won't soon forget.
Looking forward to what comes next-- Any project will surely be fortunate to have them.

I will miss Kayli Mills and Corina Boettger as Keqing and Paimon respectively. They both did a wonderful job with these characters, and I greatly enjoyed their performances. I wish them both the best of luck in their future endeavors.

It is unsurprising to me that the billion dollar company is willing to exploit people, and that it is unwilling to act in ways that would prevent said exploitation. There is no good justification for this, it only harms the talented people who work on their games.
