Anytime these discussions happen it really feels like it's not worth it. Some people play ttrpgs (like a bunch of em) and some people largely have hasbro branded hangouts. It's like two pretty different hobbies at this point.

i don't like the vehicle. it's shaped like a friend that never returned that dvd of the teenage mutant ninja turtles (1990) you let them borrow even though you keep reminding them and now they live out of town and the drive is like, six hours.

awwww man, my sweet mom sent me a buncha stuff in the mail including a really nice hardcover of Sandman, a comic I don't like by an author I despise.

She had mixed up me liking Sandman (weird Triple J comedy guy who I adored) as a kid with the Sandman (that one comic)

Luis has a good point as far as the visual language of the tasty dungeon, Wizardry got wildly popular in japan in the 80s to the point where there are more Japanese spin-offs and re-releases than original American ones. It had a pretty big impact on how western style fantasy stuff got interpreted.
