As the ACCC supermarket inquiry revealed that our supermarkets have some of the highest profits in the world, supermarket stock prices have rallied today, by 4-6%.

Investors know the ACCC can’t hurt Coles & Woolies.

It’s time for more powers to control price gouging & a prices commission.

A view into a grove of silver Banksia with a number of dead mature trees. Thankfully some have survived.

More dead silver Banksia along a roadside on the edge of a grassland reserve. These are near Corindhap in Western Victoria.

Three dead silver Banksia in a grassy woodland. I found many dead individuals in this reserve.

Shocking to see extensive mortality amongst the remnant populations of Silver Banksia at my old study sites. It's been an exceptionally dry summer but I've never seen it this bad before. #drought #climatechange

A little girl said monsters were in her bedroom. It was 60,000 bees Saylor Class had complained of "monsters in the wall" of her room at their farmhouse in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Seems apropos. And please beelieve kids when they tell you about the monsters: www.bbc.com/news/world-u...
