Greatly appreciate you signal boosting this issue! Epic's standard HDR implementation ignores all color grading LUTs, breaking HDR in any game that uses them. There's no way for devs to fix this without rewriting the implementation. As you say, it's an issue with UE.

Idk if you’ve tried them yet, but we’ve got a RenoDX mod for the game now which adds native HDR. Native HDR won’t be very compatible with that reshade preset though.

How anybody thinks the dark ages of deferred rendering before good TAA were actually the golden days of game graphics is mind boggling to me, but it's seemingly what these people yearn for. Graphics were in a weird spot, PC could just brute force resolutions the games weren't designed around...

Feels like the only people who say stuff like this are people around my age (30) who grew up PC gaming with the 7th and 8th gen consoles where PC hardware rapidly outpaced consoles. Now that consoles have remained fairly equal to mid range PCs, you can't just crank everything to ultra for free.

If you're able to access them, I really highly recommend the Seed of Might releases of everything Dragon Ball. They're significantly higher quality than anything official.
