I had to put my project to the side for a bit because I was overrun with other work, but I'll post some updates ASAP.

I've been slowly showing my 4yo kid vintage console games like NES, SNES, N64 and Genesis.
But today I showed him No Man's Sky on my PC.
He looked at me wide-eyed, and said: "...IS THIS A VIDEO GAME???!"

I can only imagine how mind-blown he was.

Sounds like a solid move. Gamedev isn't in the best place for doing this professionally at the moment.
I'm gonna stick to it for now but I totally get people wanting to focus on other strings.

Goes to show how niche games can appeal to different people. It's a huge market nowadays.

And also clickbait articles and crap media.

I've been through that a few of times and yes-- you can be proud.
