The “particular expression of Christianity” known as white Christian Nationalism poses a threat not only to any pluralistic, democratic society, but to true teachings of Christ. Because CN follows a "tribal god" who is evidently loyal to one tribe above all others, white Magagelical Americans.

This way of thinking comes straight out of slave holding Southern Baptist theology in the deep South, and people like Doug Wilson in our day.
They want to soften up White America to the notion of re-enclaving people.
Step one - get rid of immigrants,
Step two - re-enslave non-white Americans.

Christian nationalism uses god as a tool but actually follows a tribal creed. Let's call it Magagelicalism. By joining God with America first, they have created a tribal god for white Americans who elevates and preferences them above all others.

I'd like to hear more Christian theologians say that Christian Nationalism uses the Bible but doesn't follow the God of the Bible. By joining God with America first it demotes god into a tribal (actually pagan) god, a god of White Americans, and the creed is actually nihilistic.

I really like how Benjamin Cremer remer defends in this FB post the separation of church and state. If religious liberty is a concern of yours this is worth reading.

If that was true they would denounce Christian Nationalism as anti-Christian. That's supposed to be their thing after all - taking theological stands.

They'll certainly give the housing some cutesy name but they will be the first Trumpvilles (Hoovervilles).
