God this country is so embarrassing.

At a press conference today, Mpls police chief Brian OHara mentioned that the Annunciation shooter wanted to be famous for killing children. They wanted everyone to know their name. Let’s not give them what they asked for and only talk about the victims. The shooter is not worthy of remembrance.

… I mean, yes, but it’s all related and all terrible. None of it should be happening and we’re failing our kids. I think we can be mad about all of it-the entire three ring circus where this has been allowed to occur time and time and time again.

The people still offering thoughts and prayers need to pray for their own souls. Dead kids, whose needs of protection have been ignored at the behest of propaganda and profit, deserve the fucks to mourn them with the full shame and gravity the situation requires. They get to process it like adults.

I do see this point. I honestly do. But if it were my child I wouldn’t want them to be viewed solely as a victim of a tragedy. Shit has to change 100%. But it shouldn’t even have to come to this. We should’ve already solved this like every other industrialized country.

The local news here in MN was horrendous this morning. Very graphic descriptions about the guns used and what they did to the bodies. Media lost its soul when it became essentially J Jonah Jameson all the time-chasing the money and ignoring the humanity instead of serving the community.

I have been to this church. To say it is close knit is cliche but true. The funerals I have attended at this church are attended by large amounts of the community. I am so saddened by this tragedy and I echo Frey’s statement.

Yeah. I was a FA 20 yrs ago. Not for air Canada but a regional. I got paid $14K for a year. Working 14 hour days but bc the airplane door wasn’t closed, I would only get paid for half of that. Fuck these airlines for not paying their people.
