The boy explained that he had been left there by the Greek Coast Guard after trying to reach the island of Samos. What kind of human being forces a child into a life raft at night and abandons him at sea? This is not just illegal—it is inhumane, cruel, and utterly beyond comprehension. And this is not an isolated incident. In June, two small children were found drifting naked in a life raft off Lesvos after the Greek Coast Guard stripped them of their clothes and abandoned them."
