Aged 16 went to my girlfriend's house for the first time. After dinner with her folks I was desperate to use the bog and was surprised how low it was. Did a shit and realised it wasn't the bog; pushed the shit through the plug hole with my fingers. Never seen a bidet before.

When I finally associated the written word sabotage from the Hardy Boys books with the word as spoken on Hogan’s Heroes, I was mortified. I had been pronouncing it saw-boat-age in my head. I was probably 6-8. So I get it.

It’s perfect for grilled cheese! Of course I was the only one who chose it. My brother’s kids aren’t always the most adventurous. The oldest niece at least tried a bite and said she liked it tho.

I used sharp cheddar, pepper jack and havarti. We also had Swiss and shredded “Mexican” available.

A grilled cheese sandwich alongside a bowl of tomato soup. (For those interested cheddar, pepper jack and havarti on sourdough. WITH bacon, and no the chef is not entertaining the argument that bacon makes it a melt)
