I was traumatized and gaslit by a group that I strongly suspect contained one or more sociopaths, and you've described them to a T. I got popular within the group and risked pushback against some of their lies, manipulations, and contradictions, and eventually the explosive retaliation came.

I read The Last Messiah by Zappfe recently, it's a very thought provoking essay.
