But the real issue is that my middle schoolers CONSTANTLY believe all art I show them is AI. Digital art. Photography. Oil paintings from the Western canon. "A human couldn't do that" Being convinced that humans can't make great art is kind of terrifying

I spotted this on Mastodon and I find it horrible, not least for the speed with which this has happened.

I say this sometimes, "I'd draw but I can't draw." but really what I mean when I say that is: "I have like 10 hobbies and only make time for two of them. there's no way I can add an 11th on top of that."

I like hypnosis as a narrative trope/ therapeutic plot device, but ALSO love it as a kink, but not when it gets TOO kinky. This may sound paradoxical: but when the kink gets too *overt* it's a turn-OFF for me, personally.
