Human-Caused Global Warming Spiked the Death Toll of Europeโ€™s Early Summer Heatwave - Inside Climate News Researchers found that nearly two thirds of the estimated 2,300 heat deaths resulted from global heating intensified by fossil fuel emissions, but worry that officials undercount heat mortalities.
