You'd think with all these layoffs, CEOs and CFOs and COOs would also be fired. Alas.

First the administration cut food assistance for Americans in need.

Now they’re refusing to use emergency funds for food assistance—even though their now-deleted shutdown plan said they could.

They have the funding to keep families from going hungry. There’s no excuse.

Back in September, I wasn’t feeling too good. I was going to give notice, because I’m 64 years old and tired of cleaning. One day on LinkedIn, they got 70 applications! It’s not even a great job, no healthcare, some holidays off, and a lot of shitty toilets. Also part time at $16.50 an hour.

UPS just said it cut 48,000 jobs this year.
Here’s why that matters:

💰 The company is making record profits;
📈 Its stock rose after the layoffs.

When a company calls that “savings,” it’s not efficiency — it’s putting profits way over people.

I feel that way when I find bees.🐝 🌺 so I put them on a flower when I can for their last moments.
