Unfortunately, yeah. Alot of that stock art and what have you is basically trash now, only real option is to search through them by upload date, and choose stuff from BEFORE the rise of AI.

I genuinely despise the use of AI, and seeing it in the TTRPG space, used in stuff I enjoy (or enjoyED *cough cough* DnD) pisses me off to no end.

And if I was in the shoes of the victim's family, I would ponder whether or not I'd be okay with going to prison for a different reason.

Using an AI tool honestly just seems lame, especially if you're using it for possible raiders.

Like. Just pay attention? Use just a regular old bot?

It feels like you're getting cheated. You see something that looks cool on a glance, then you realize the art actually looks like trash up close, and the creator didn't actually do any of the work.

So it suddenly goes from a labor of love, to...a cash grab.

and I'm definitely not suggesting this because I'm making some Aussie style meat pies today.

If you're looking for some quick and dirty street food for your setting, here's two good options;

While I can't really help with ALL spaces, I can at least pass you my list so you can keep your BlueSky Feed clear of AI in the TTRPG space.

I mean, certainly, but the problem is that unless you are only using the pre-1900 ideas of a Hollow Earth...you are guaranteed to come across some pretty awful shit that was coupled with the Hollow Earth theory.

And the 20th-21st centuries are where those bizarre, pulpy ideas appear, sadly.

Oh the idea of a Hollow Earth / Hollow World is also pretty common across cultures, so it's not surprising it gets brought into writing as well.

It's very easy for folks to look at the ground below us and go "Oh what if there's something else down there?".

In fairness, even in our world we have a TREMENDOUS amount of undocumented cave systems.

Honestly, the biggest shame about Hollow Earth stuff?

It genuinely could be a really good option for worldbuilding, but the further you dig into the Hollow Earth stuff, the more likely you are to find a connection to Reptilians or Nazis.

God that's a fun idea.

I'd imagine that would make cooking a bit of a pain in the ass
