I would argue that saying "parents are too exhausted/busy working to raise their kids well and contributes to boys being like this" is not a glib leveling of blame, but to take that statement and say "well let's not blame this issue on WOMEN working" is actually a very glib deflection.

Avoiding calling out an issue because the potential responses are too close to an opposing faction's ideology is an excellent way to cede discourse on the topic entirely to that faction.

It's the reason low info working class folks see Dems as spineless cowards who don't actually care abt shit.

This makes sense if you grew up in the 90-early 00ss when the internet was new and people didn't really know how it could be used. Parents of kids nowadays have been around for at least a decade and a half of the modern internet, it should be on them to be safeguards/gatekeepers for their children.
