This one does have a name, Suolamännynpolku. But that's only visible in maintenance class maps and the zoning plan I guess. Yeah, regular 1st class (so the 2nd highest class) so absolutely should have been plowed 🙄

Very difficult to recognize the exact path here. Which one is it? Maybe a lower maintenance class path? Nevertheless, should have been plowed of course.

Exactly! Although, studded tires are not at all necessary here. There's no ice at all. That said, I'm all for anything that makes anyone more comfortable riding, be it studded tires or what ever 🤗

First snowfall of the winter, which means also the first snow plows of the winter. On bike paths, of course. Tomorrow's forecast is full of rain and all this snow will probably be gone very soon, but of course, we can't wait for that here in Oulu 🇫🇮 👌☃️🚲🚶❄️

That would be sweet! This is not an e-bike though and with that 100 kg load added to the tricycle's own 48 kg weight it's indeed quite heavy to pedal uphills with 😅

The Nallibaana cycling and pedestrian baana (superhighway) in Oulu has received a national honorable mention for construction projects, the press release says. It was awarded by the Finnish Municipal Engineering Association.
