Aside from the absurdity of trying to figure out how to implement this, does he think there's a set amount of films the world can make each year? Like, if India or South Korea makes five films in 2026 well dammit that's five films we can't make over here!

As a Dallas kid in the 90s, Premiere Video was the spot. Plus they had an extensive laserdisc library, and I was the only 19-year old I knew who had an LD player (it was the only reliable way I could get the original aspect ratio).

Really curious who owns and profits from medbedcard(dot)com, a website that was registered a month ago and that appears to sell a metal card that looks exactly like the one in this fake video.

Great film!

I remember watching this for the first time, understanding they were stationed in Oahu in 1941 and what was coming, and still got so caught up that when the camera holds on a calendar reading Dec 6, 1941 I said, "Oh shit, no!"

I had completely forgotten. Everyone is so damn good.

Saw it at London’s Old Vic in 1997 with Alan Howard and Ben Kingsley.

Twice. I had to go back for more.

Ah yes, I’ve always wanted to see one of the most classic of classic Hollywood films as if it was shot on a circa 2004 Windows desktop.
