(SPOILER FOR EPISODE 9) What it looks like is that Carol acts in a very reactionary way, as opposed to Manousos, who follows his moral principles to a fault. I was a little worried that he would be a Gary Sue type character, but he seems to (Thankfully for us) have his own ideological problems.

#pluribus halfway through the season 1 finale and I can't help notice that Carol's criticisms of Manousos are incredibly hypocritical, seeing as how she acted in the exact same way in the first few episodes.

Manousos is the only character in the show with any real moral clarity and I love that about him. Carol is great but she seems to be losing her grip and drifting into fantasy land. This last episode was a great example of that.
