I mean Taylors are just plinky plinky to me. You could look at Eastman who are making exemplary guitars for idontknowhowtheydoit prices, or a Lakewood which are Lowden quality Germans for half the price (I have their grand concert size and it is world class).

I have a couple of Sigmas though which are *tremendous* for the £100 and £300 I paid for them. However, where is the fun in not buying a new guitar?
