The Virtual Boy stuff announced today is interesting. I'm halfway thru reading this great book "Virtual Boy Works" by @jparish.bsky.social and it's given me a new respect for some of these games. The Virtual Boy had some good games on it, too bad the system was a flop.

An alternate dimension where Pokémon keep humans in balls and let them out every now and then to beat the shit out of each other.

Make this game happen, Nintendo.

I HATE when people compare AI to the printing press, it's so disingenuous. The printing press was opposed by the elites because it put power in the hands of everyday people, and popularized a vernacular. AI does the opposite, by allowing elites to bypass artists and laborers.

Never even heard of these until a week ago when I was looking at an old issue of EGM and there was an ad for Zap Pax. Naturally I had to look it up online and saw someone selling a sealed box for $70 on Etsy.
